February 2024 Real Estate Recap for Hermosa Beach
Average home price at $2,804,089 for the month
Things were sold once again with 10 homes selling in Hermosa Beach for the second month in a row.
The average “list” price was $2,936,200 with the average sold price at $2,804,089 which was a nice improvement from the $2,613,500 in January but still below the extremely high average of $3,363,750 in December.
It took a while for homes to sell with the average days on market at 75 before going into escrow. The homes that sold average $1,233 per square foot which was a sizable decrease from January’s average of $1445. As Hermosa is small and homes vary so much price per foot can be dramatically impacted by the kinds of homes that sell during the month.
Two homes topped the $5,000,000 market with the top sale an oceanview single family home at 120 28th St Hermosa Beach that sold for $5,900,000 and the other a modern single family at 477 25th St that closed at $5,500,000. The lowest price of the month was a one bedroom condo in The Victorian at 2411 Prospect in East Hermosa Beach that closed at $600,000.
