Although there are occasional exceptions, the most affordable housing in Hermosa Beach is often in the complex located at 2411 Prospect known as the Victorian.  The Victorian is made up of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos ranging from 598 sq feet to 1,230 square feet for the rare 3 bedroom units.

The Victorian was built in 1972-1973 so some of the homes are original and very much “fixers” while others are beautifully remodeled and look like model homes.  All units are individually owned and with 64 total units there are generally between 5-7 homes that come on the market each year.

The Victorian offers underground parking (in a shared lot but designated spaces), a pool, laundry room (units do not have interior laundry) and a nice courtyard area.  Although the building is located about as far east as Hermosa gets, the fact that the city is so small means it’s still just a short bike ride to the beach.
