One of the more notable home sales in Hermosa Beach in the past few months was a very cool and unique new construction single family home located at 2481 Valley Drive. 

It sold at a big number of $6337,500 although that was likely a bit of a disappointment given the initial list price of $7,500,000. 

The home was incredible but had a few challenges including the location on a somewhat busy street and the likely limited buyer pool.  This was definitely a hip home ideal for an influencer or entertainer, but maybe not as appealing for families due to the design and layout.

Either way it’s an impressive number for a home on Valley without an ocean view so congrats to all.

The home was a bit unusual from the front and certainly stands out from the  beach bungalows on the street, but once you enter you’ll see that it’s all about the west facting side of the home.

Designed by John Starr and built by Chris Lombardi, the home clearly envisioned the backyard BBQ being ramped up a bit with massive window walls to merge indoor and outdoor spaces…..of which both are plentiful.
