Good Start to the Year - 10 Homes Sell in Hermosa During January
Average home price at $2,613,500
Things picked up a bit in Jauary with 10 homes selling in Hermosa Beach compared with 8 in December and a historically slow November that saw only 5 closed home sales. What makes this especially impressive is that January is traditionally the slowest month for “closed” sales of the year.
The average “list” price was $2,721,400 with the average sold price at $2,613,500 which was a big drop from the $3,363,750 average in December although that was MUCH higher than usual.
The average price per foot was an impressive $1445 which was about $100 a foot higher than in December. Homes averaged a lengthy 81 days on market before going into escrow.
