Things picked up a bit in December with 8 homes selling in Hermosa Beach compared with a historically slow November that saw only 5 closed home sales. Compare that to a very busy September with 20 homes closing escrow.
The average “list” price was $3,414,224 with the average sold price at $3,363,750 which was dramatically higher than the average price in November of $2,063,500 (the low number of sales can skew prices considerably).
The average price per foot was an impressive $1353 and homes averaged a brief 22 days on market before going into escrow. This was very short compared with the previous months in which homes averaged 40+ days on market.
