Walkstreet beauty sells off market

41 16th Street, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

Sold at $8,500,000

One of the big home sales in Hermosa Beach in September was never actually on the market.  41 16th Street was a coastal contemporary built in 2012 on an oversized walk street lot just 4 homes from the beach.

The home was owned by former LA King, and current Pittsburg Penguin player Jeff Carter.   Carter, along with a number of King’s players, call Hermosa home.  His former teamate Anze Kopitar’s double lot home in Manhattan Beach is currently listed for $37,000,000!

It’s good to be a King!

The home sat oon an oversized 38 foot wide lot that fronted the walkstreet.  That along with extra outdoor space due to the city right of way made for a spacious outdoor patio and the retractable living room doors seemlessly integrated indoor and outdoor areas.

Sellers were represented by June Emerson of Vista Sotheby’s International.

The home was owned by the Carters since it’s completion in 2012 and ironically just sold back to the prior owner/builder.   Going full circle!
