Welcome to October real estate report and recap for homes in Hermosa Beach CA. October definitely showed signs of a slowing market compared with the previous October. There were 43 active home listings on the Hawthorne MLS compared with 24 last year which means inventory is starting to sit for a while. Only 11 homes went into escrow compared with 23 in 2021 and only 11 homes sold in October 2022 compared with 18 last year. Median prices were down (although that doesn’t mean much with so few home sales) with a median home price of $1,899,000 compared with $2,105,000 last october.
