In a rare occurance, the beachfront home at 1630 The Strand sold quickly.

1630 The Strand Hermosa Beach was listed by Jennifer Caskey of Compass.

Strand homes often sit for months if not years….often due in large part to overpricing but also a very limited buyer pool. 

1630 The Strand was priced at lot value and clearly they were eager to sell as they listed at $6,500,000 and sold for $6,100,000.  The probably wisely took full advantage of being a new listing.  

The photos made the home look newer and nicer than what it actually was in reality.

It was an unusual combination of original areas, updated areas, hardwood floors that were simply painted white, an abundance and variety of surfaces, cabinets etc.  Beyond a very nice sized beachfront living room and upstairs bedroom….it was either a major project or a tear down.
