There is a new top sale in Hermosa Beach and it actually sold off market.  The very unusual and distintive 2666 The Strand Hermosa Beach just closed escrow for an impressive $19,450,000 beating out the previous historic high at 2926 The Strand which sold in May of 2023 for $18,590,000.

The home at 2666 The Strand was not like others in many ways.  Unlike the rectangular lots along the Strand, this one was somewhat triangular with the lot next door.  This one benefitted from the wide side being beachfront offering an incredible 71 feet of beach frontage.  The home was also huge with almost 7,000 square feet.  The home took full advantage of the oversized frontage with glass window walls and a very unique infinity type pool out front.  Cosmetically fantastic but practically didn’t leave much of a deck.

The home originally sold as new construction in 2013 for $14,000,000 after the tear down home had been sold in 2011 for $6,000,000 land value.

The $19,450,000 sales price is a new record and beach out the recent sale of it’s neighbor at 2826 The Strand Hermosa Beach that sold in May of this year for $18,590,000
