The home was just a block from Manhattan Beach and the Manhattan Beach Strand.
The home had been on the market for 273 days before going into escrow with several price reductions along the way. Originally listed at $9,350,000 the most recent “list” price was $8,950,000. The home closed tat $7,800,000.
The home was last sold in 2016 for $6,450,000.
The home itself was built in 2006 and had some features that still felt newer and some areas that felt slightly dated. The ocean and beach views are stunning. The north end of Hermosa is always highly sought after but we think that the price is on the higher end for a lot that’s only 1,658 square feet. The beachfront lots get much narrower here where the street and bike path start to converge.
That said the home maximizes the possible square footage and the offers 2,298 square feet on three levels all offering big views.
